As above, fancied a change, currently using XC PRO f+R on my FTM. Mainly trail centers with some single track. Thinking of using a 2.1 crossmark on the rear. I know its a personal thing tyres but anyone use them or similar high rolling rear?

Maxxis Aspen might be worth a look?

I dont think they do the Aspen in UST. Looks very similar to the Ardent

2.25 crossmark

With a bit of patience ad plenty of washing up liquid, the normal ones seal fine...

Didn't see the bit about UST, don't really like the Crossmark for UK riding, great on hardpack though, so if mainly used for trail centres might be alright. Small block 8 comes into this category too.

Why the 2.25 on the rear and not the 2.1?

CROSSMARK 2.25 , rolls quick and grips well, better than the Ardent in mud, on corners the Ardent is better so is a good choice up front.

Don't see the point in a 2.1 as the 2.25 is a quick tyre and with the extra volume can take a bit more stick, I run one on the rear for 2 years good tyre.
