minion DHF flavour, is there any point not going for MaxxTerra when the 2.5WT MaxxGrip is only a few ounces heavier.

is it going to wear considerably quicker or be substantially more draggy when used up front?

Grippy = Wears faster more draggy

Terra I think are the faster rolling ones

Cheers, will the maxxgrip be too draggy for Cannock?

On the front it's not too draggy I've got the dhf 2.5 max grip and it's a great tyre

The wear rate has been good too about 3-4 months in and the edges are just rounding off now

I have just put a 2.5 DHF maxxterra on the front and it's a great tyre. Can't compare to the maxxgrip but the grip of the terra is bob-on.

Fitted a 2.5 DHF maxxgrip a couple of weeks ago and it's grippier than a grippy thing. I kind of think that if you're fitting a 2.5 DHF then grip is probably high up your priorities, so might as well go for the compound with more?

Got a 2.5wt maxxterra dhf on the front, tread is lasting well

Thinking of putting the same on the rear

Assuming your not joking - you do realise a DHF works really well on the rear?

Why not? plenty of grip!

As Legend says they work well, plenty of people use a dhf on the rear

Wish Maxxis would make a exo casing maxxgrip 29er. At the end of the day you notice the dh casing up front after 25miles/5000ft !

Not sure about maxxgrip/terra but was there not a thread a bit back saying the triple compound version was not great in colder weather, and better sticking with dual compound in the winter?
