Thinking of buying a maxlight xc2 hardtail and they recommend 100mm forks, does anyone have one of these bikes with anything bigger on ie: 130-140mm if so how is it?

100mm I would recommend - I tried it with 120mm but front end was a bit dead 🙂 Previous XC2 / current XCPro3 owner 🙂 It will take a 120mm - But I wouldn't got above that.

If you want 120-130mm got for the XC120 🙂

Thanks, thought so but there's an xc2 on eBay for £150 and I've been after a red 46cm for ages so might swap the fox 130's I've got and get something better suited

Brilliant bikes though the XCPro2s, even with 'only' 100mm travel. Just did Trans Wales on mine and it was amazing.

The one on ebay is a XCPro2 (red)not and XC2 (black, White or mocca (CRC) )(different bikes) but same head angle so 100mm fork best 🙂
