Hi All,

A rare post from myself on this forum.

I have a question on Maxle Ultimate 2016 on a pike fork.
Is is normal that the thread into the fork is loose prior to the clamp engagement? I have seen the you Tube guides etc. However the skeptic in me is wary of tightening a QR on a loose thread if you know aht I mean....

Yes the thread would be loose. it shouldnt be REALLY flopping about but its certainly not 'solid' and not fully engaged.
