[#11128374]

Looking for a maxle for my boost rear hub, written on the old maxle is
L: 174mm
TL: 20mm
TP: m12x1.75

found a maxle that claims to be
Length-174mm
Thread-20mm
Pitch-M12X1.75
So I figure it'll do the job...
BUT it says 12x142 and my hub is 12x148, so did the old none boost (142) waste 6mm of space on the 174mm axle length compared to the boost (148) or are the specs on one of them wrong/misleading?

Old one is a "QR" design, new one is just a screw in, if that makes a difference.

Spec's sound fine, there's no specific boost or non-boost lengths as such, because different frames have different thickness of dropouts to take into account.

The only variables on an axle are the overall length, the thread length, thread pitch, and diameter. so long as all those match you should be good!
