fitted my reverb, but even with it as deep into the saddle tube as possible so that the collar is resting on the top, at full extension the saddle is, fractionally, too high for me. Having just got back into riding, will I slowly find my saddle height going up and up? Currently, at this max height it's a few mm above heel on the pedal and straight leg height, and if I pedal it (round the garden) it feels like I'm having to stretch and rock hips to pedal. Currently planning to swap it for a 100mm drop one, but wondering if, after more riding, I'd actually be wanting that height. I know I can lower it a bit, but it would be a pain that on max extension it's not the right max height..... thoughts from the stw experts?

I had a similar issue and have now found that I am happier with the extra height, even feels better when applied to all my bikes. I did have seat set at the 0.8 something or other times inseam, but as I have a shorter top leg section proportionally to my lower than most apparently I should be running slightly higher in any event. If this makes sense?
Works for me but may not for all ๐Ÿ˜•

Is your frame to big for you? You could always chop a bit off the top of the seat tube if theres lots of material there.

is there not a way to reduce the travel by fitting a travel adjust spacer, as per the forks?

Is there a reason why you fully extend it? Surely you could run it at about 90% of full? Am I missing something??

simplicity.
when fully extended, it should be my max height - otherwise I'll be fiddling with it instead of riding. No advantage to that extra height also.
@davidtaylforth - it's about right - carbon frame, so cutting it possible but not advised. Smaller travel reverb easier, methinks!!
