Will this be tough enough as a DH rim. Never been a Mavic man, always ridden MTX's and the like to opinions appreciated. Im fairly hard on wheels but wanted to avoid a deemax if possible.

I use them on my 224 never had any problems where my mates have had problems with MTX rims coming apart.

tough as old boots, alongside the EX721 I would say it's the definitive DH rim.
Probably slightly more likely to get dinged than the 721

i use them
they do build a very solid wheel.
sun doubletracks are wider and tougher tho.

I find them soft- although MTX are't coping as well as they used too either! Must ride smoothly..
