MAVIC Crossrides 2017 as tubeless ?

Hiya. I am considering going tubeless on non tubeless rims. Has anyone tried it on those ?

Also, they are 21mm internal, would a 25mm tape be adequate ? Considering Tesa 4289 for that.

Thanks ! Did you use tubeless specific tyres ?

Does anyone know if basic non-tubeless Nobby Nic in 2.35 would work ? Rims are 21mm internal.

Well I did it anyway and it seems to work. TESA 4289 25mm tape and Joe's sealant (100ml per wheel).

Going to Peaslake on sunday and BPW the weekend after so that should be a test.

I appreciate the "performance" NN won't be ideal there but does a tube add anything in terms of safety in case things don't work out as planned at the first high load corner ?
