Looking to buy Crossmax SX MTB, seen 2008 pair how do they compare bewteen 2010/11 and 2012 i.e pickup, weight and can the freehub body be replaced in needed also will they take 20mm + axle etc

Still good just not got latest freehub gubbins so pickups not as fast as the latest ones, and about 100g heavier, you can get mavic qr and 20mm converters and riesse racing do 15mm converters as well, if your getting em at a good price go for it 😀
I was warned off 2008 ones, don't know why maybe someone else will know? Might be same issue as I've described below.
2009—2011 requires some understanding of the internals to stop play in the rear bearings. People over tighten the outer nut and don't touch the inner one resulting in lunched bearings and possibly freewheel damage too. If buying second hand a bust or missing tool for the outer nut is a sign of this.
Not heard anything about the 2012 version yet.
