[Closed] Mavic crossmax sx broke again!

First rear wheel in France now done the same on a lap of cwmcarn. Anyone else. Had this problem, seems to be drive said all the time.

I ain't small and mine have been fine with some lairy and unskilled riding.

I had the main axle shear off on the rear wheel after a day at aston hill, have since upgraded with a mavic extreme axle which makes it a bolt on wheel now. also now have a bent spoke after casing a landing very hard.

I'd say the problem here is casing the landing ๐Ÿ˜€

What year are they as there is an upgrade available for some rear wheels. fitted one Yesterday.

i am on the larger side but iv been told theres no weight limit on these.

i snapped 3 in france and 1 on the weekend. all drive side and at the bottom near the hub.

You don't seem to make much sense. What have you broken? If it is a spoke then get over it, this stuff happens.

Is it a spoke then?

These things happen, it's not as if the bearings have collapsed or the hub has cracked in half.

Maybe it's a bad build, maybe it's bad luck or maybe your just clumsy. I would get my lbs to loosen of and re-tension all the spokes.
