Just checked my bike over after yesterday's adventures and found a wobbly wheel,removed wheel from bike and found what you see above.
the wheel is a 2012 crossmax sx, the hub and bearings are fine, its just the axle thats sheared off.
So what do i need to order? does the axle come with the freehub, is it even called an axle?

all part numbers listed here.note number and contact mavic uk service centre or any dealer they can order you part,takes about a week though.

Had the same issue last month, trawl the forums, it's common.
You could replace with an mavic extreme axle if it goes again.
its done well by the sounds of it., over a year of maintenence free riding, the final straw was on at aston hill on sunday. Cheers for the info
