I have some Mavic Cosmics that came with a partly disassembled bike I bought last year. The rear one sits very far to the non-drive side despite otherwise being true and straight and since it wouldn't make sense on the bike i was wondering if the axle set-up was wrong.
Any ideas?

Worn drop out? If so can be fixed with some JB Weld and filed back to shape.

Not sure how I'd feel about that! But no the drop-out is good, it's the same in multiple bikes.
