Anyone any experience of Mavic clothing, mainly the shorts, baggy and bib, for use in all cyling, not just road 🙄

And some of the shoes look good for hike-a-bike style stuff, e.g. Alpine MTB Shoes.

I had a look at there bibs a couple of weeks ago, looked like good quality but at the price (£80) I'd like to see some reviews before I bought them.

I bought some Stratos baggy shorts a few weeks back. Are super comfortable, very gucci and high end. Liner fits like a glove (ahem) but I'm not sure how durable they will be. I managed to pull out one of the waistband poppers already....quality very very high, not sure about long term value for money.

I bought their baggy shorts this year. They look and feel nice quality, with the important ykk zips on fly and pockets. Really cool in hot conditions with a good liner - £60 IRC.

Mate of mine has the shoes and rates them highly.

Made by Adidas, so they should be sorted. Tried a pair of shorts on, but they had strange welded pockets on the legs that stuck out at an odd angle. Shorts would have been better without them. IMO

I got a Mavic Gillet for my brithday, I will say the sizes come up rather small.

I had to get an XL to get anything other than skin tight roadie fit, everything else I wear is a medium, even other cycle clothing!

It's a very well made bit of kit, would like to wear it at some point but it's so bloody warm there's no need 8)
