I have MK 2.2 UST on my bike and was thinking off changing them maybe to RQ 2.4 but my UST rims reckon i can only go upto to 2.3 as anyone gone bigger and regretted it ....or is it ok to get the RQ 2.4s
โข Recommended tire widths: 1.50 to 2.30

Up to you, I can't see an extra 0.1 being too dangerous unless anyone has any horror stories. I've run 2.5 tubed on rims that were only meant to take 2.3 and they were fine.
2.5 diesel fine on mine, not running silly low pressures tho.
2.4 Fat Alberts fine on mine too.
They'll be fine. You certainly won't kill yourself. Some people may argue that the profile isn't square enough etc.etc. but the tyres will work fine.
i ran a 2.4 rq on a 719.
i'm not dead!
actually it works well and gives a decent shape.
I've fitted a 2.4MK UST on mine with no issues, it's a stupidly big tyre though!
Have run 2.5 on 819; not easy to get on, and not the best solution (sits a lot better on a wider rim) but OK.
I ran Bonty ACX 2.35s on mine... they're a big tyre and felt great. Have just put some 2.1 Maxxis Ignitors on and they look tiny! Not ridden the maxxis yet, but reckon I'm gonna miss the fat rubber.
I've had 2.5 high rollers and wet screams on mine, both tubeless. 2.5 seemed prone to burping mind. 2.35 maxxis were perfect.
i have had 2.5 minion and high rollers on and the rims were fine.
i found it also depends on what pressures you run as to how they feel.
Thanks for the advise everyone
I ran 2.4 RQs (non UST) when they first came out on my 819s - no problem.
Have 2.2 UST RQs now, all good.
