nipple insert in my 819 broke in half. Tried fitting a new insert but threads are pretty knackered

Is it likely to be possible to tap it? I'm not sure - it's under quite a bit of stress

I've got a pair of 'retired' Xm819's that are gathering dust in my garage.

Any use?
