As per title, can I turn a pair of 317 rims tubelesss?

A friend of mine has a Carrera fury with a pair of those but lately he seems to be getting a flat on every ride. As a sidenote he is just over 12 stones would that matter even?

Thanks!

I've got 2 pairs done Ghetto style, with a compressor , been using them about 15 months now, no problems at all.

Tubeless does not solve pinch flats. I got just as many if not more from the tyre burping air or just bad luck. If it is pinch flats then checking the pressure regulary in your tyres, and then if that does not work thicker tubes or sidewalls would be better than Tubeless. I was running mavic 819 full tubeless. Never got a flat running a tube in cthe tubeless setup though.

I got tubeless for over a year now, other than stupidly using an Exception Crossmark which simply had too thin of a wall and got sliced because of some flint, i havent had a single flat. I dont think it is pinch flat though anyway. He seems to be getting them a lot on the front so might do one first see how he gets along.

Good to know that it can be done Ghetto and with stans tape. Thanks guys.

So on a tangent are speed kings prone to flats? that's what's on the bike, I have a couple of tubeless ready crossmarks which we could use if they are any better.
