If thats tha area in the South France, yes its awsome but you will have to use your savy to find your way around, its a great area, HOT, very grippy rock, Ho and watch out for the porn films being filmed out in the hills, made for an interesting day once

I have biked in the Groges Des Loup area. VG rides. Used the very good VTOPO guide. Bramafan/Plateau St Barnabe was an amzing route, old roman road climb to a plateau then 6inch wide singletrack contouring down and then amazing switchbacks into Bramafan.

The Vtopo guides have always given vg rides, we have ridden the AlpesMaritimes bleu guide and Provence red/blue guide routes.

Although the guide is Blue which is 'VTOPO Alpes-Maritimes Initiés'
and lower level, believe me the routes are up to red/black 7 stanes, drop ofs etc are all rollable, no 'must jump' features.

Thye have proper 1;25k maps with the routes marked as well as text.

We normally trawl these sites below too.

I have a list of the terms used in the guide eg sentier cailliteuse, and what they worked out as on the ground eg how wide a trail was if it was a fire road or walkers path or scree descent.
