Hi,
I have recently aquired some Marzocchi MX PRO 2003 forks, i get a water sound when the forks compress, is this usual?

Don't worry, perfectly normal, its only the oil sloshing around

It's the sound of longevity.
So very different from the short-lived dry scrape of a pair of Forx.

Open bath oil system, so it's just the oil sploshing around and lubricating everything nicely.
