Anyone own these? cant afford to change mine, used the warranty pack to convert to coil, still put a bit of air in the chamber as the spring is still stiff for me.but they still leak air even with new internals in ๐Ÿ˜

the top cap bolt comes loose under the lockout lever alot, which maybe where the air is leaking from, and i was told about play in the front wheel from the maxle, slight play there,

so does anyone won these, and got round-fixed these problems,as i cant afford to buy new forks, and dare say no one will buy them off me..

cheers.

Where did you buy it? I returned, for a full refund, an '09 66 RC3 which had three warranty returns in its first year. If stuff isn't fit for purpose, you may have the right to return.

iirc, 3 year warranty from date of purchase, so they're lying.

If the spring is too stiff why put air in them? or is it negative air?

If they have never been right then they are not fit for purpose and should be returned - but under SOGA you might now only get a partial refund. if there is a 3 year guarantee than use that.

Or ask Loco or one of the other specialists for a repair / opinion

The warranty may have run out but you still have statutory rights that last up to 6 years under the Sale Of Goods act. If the fork was faulty when it was bought, and you've not damaged it, then you are entitled to a repair or replacement.

You'll need to prove they are faulty, but that doesn't sound too difficult given what you've said above.
