Anyone have a view on these?
I am in the market ,for,a,new fork.
It's this or,the,pike,and I like,the look,off this.
I,am after,the most comfortable,fork.
I have one all I can confirm so far is that it weighs 2040g. Check out the reviews of the latest reviews of the 55 CR.
Well I ordered one. I was struggling to buy a pike. I hope I have made a good choice.
Well I,thought I should write my thoughts up as I could not find many views on this fork before I bought one.
The fork looks amazing and has a high quality feel to it.
I went to the bike park wales today and had a blast. The fork was a pleasure to ride. I set it up about 10 psi less than the manual stated as I suffer from arthritis so i was after smooth running from trail buzz. The fork done just what I want it to do. I had 3-4 clicks of low speed compression wound on and it felt great. It did not dive through it's travel it sat in the sag range nicely when braking.
Towards the end of the day I stepped up a bit to ride the blacks and I got full travel a fair few times no problem at all.
If I was pushed for a negative I would say the rebound seems to have big changes for one click.
If you are thinking of getting one of these go for it. I think it's a good as the pike and looks a lot better.
