I'm thinking of getting a set for my Tourer / Commuter - I like the idea of the different hand position possibilities. A couple of questions first -

1) Is the area around the clamp wide enough to take a clamp for a barbag (Clamp is min. 6cm, max 8)
2) Is it possible to put stubby bar-ends in the apex of the 'M' bits, thus re-creating a fairly shoddy but cheap H bar.
3) Are the extra bits useable in the same way as a butterfly bar, or should I just get a butterfly bar?

I think you might struggle to get a bar bag on but it might fit. The issue with putting bar ends on the curves is they get all tangled up with the brake and gear levers It might work it might not.

I don't find I have any position other than the obvious one because of the levers on the bars.

comfy tho - I like 'em on my commuter. Get the set off mollski and try 'em?

TJ - Any idea if the forward 'Ms' will interfere with a bar bag?

It needs 5.5cm forward clearance and about 30cm across

Marginal - I make the points of the "Ms" about 30 cm apart and about 6 cm forward of the centre. You do get extended mounts for bar bags tho.
