What's black and shoots across the dance floor?
His Dad
Dah, dah, dah, dah
dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah
Dah, dah, dah, dah
Dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah
Dah, dah, dah
Rockets, moon shots
Spend it on the have nots
Money, we make it
For we see it you take it
Oh, make you wanna holler
The way they do my life
Make me wanna holler
The way they do my life
This ain't livin', This ain't livin'
No, no baby, this ain't livin'
No, no, no
Inflation no chance
To increase finance
Bills pile up sky high
Send that boy off to die
Make me wanna holler
The way they do my life
Make me wanna holler
The way they do my life
Dah, dah, dah
Dah, dah, dah
Hang ups, let downs
Bad breaks, set backs
Natural fact is
I can't pay my taxes
Oh, make me wanna holler
And throw up both my hands
Yea, it makes me wanna holler
And throw up both my hands
Crime is increasing
Trigger happy policing
Panic is spreading
God know where we're heading
Oh, make me wanna holler
They don't understand
Dah, dah, dah
Dah, dah, dah
Dah, dah, dah
Mother, mother
Everybody thinks we're wrong
Who are they to judge us
Simply cause we wear our hair lon

so stupid minded but I go crazy. but I be all right my friend......
but who really cares!
An awesome album! Good to see great minds think alike ๐
Some of us were born with money to spend
Some of us were born for races to win
Some of us are aware that it's good for us to care
Some of us feel the icy wind of poverty blowin' in the air
For those of us who simply like to socialize
For those of us who tend the sick
And heed the people's cries
Let me say to you
Turn on, on, feel it, feel
Yeah, oh, oh, oh Lord, Lord, people
And I say, right on
Honey, right on
I was lucky enough to see him live on the[url=
Sexual Healing[/url] Tour
At Bradford St Georges Hall ....
Fantastic showman
Great Concert
Sadly missed ....
Got to give it up - one of the best songs ever recorded!
What's going on must surely be one of the best albums ever. There isn't a dud on there and marvin's sweet voice and hard hitting lyrics are something else. Came out in 1973 and still sounds good.
I worked with a guy that saw Marvin and Tammi sing together in Harlem and he said it was amazing.
Saw him at Manchester a long long time ago - simply amazing concert. What's Going On is one the greatest albums of all time too.
