Doesn't need to be dusty. ๐Ÿ™‚
Happy to say I shed a wee tear seeing that.

That's the problem with youtube though - bits of dust off his back wheel can actually get through your screen and into your eye! Can't they?

I am jealous of just how good he still is.

I know that sounds really horrible but seriously, still better than I am.

What an utter legend.

properly brilliant video. Thanks for sharing that.

I know e-bikes are meant to be for rider assist but that technology must open some exciting opportunities for Martyn and others in a similar situation.

That was brilliant. The way he has held himself through this whole ordeal has been incredible, he's a true inspiration. Chapeau Martyn, you are awesome.

I was just about to post the same thing.

Awesome, just awesome, when he gets some air off one of those drops/jumps the look of sheer joy on Martyn's face is brilliant, such a good, feel good video.

I love how he's just riding with his mates, and they're all euphoric at seeing him on a mountain bike again.

He's also a MUCH better rider than me still, what a bloke ๐Ÿ˜€

Very cool - I'd like to see an ebike company build him a 300w motor into a frame so he can really let rip, perhaps with electric drop down outrigger wheels so he can come to a stop whenever he wants.

Having suffered a spinal cord injury 20 odd years ago i've had thoughts about designs that i may need for a similar set-up for myself in the future, I got away with no lasting mobility problems at the time but now, 20 years later there are issues getting worse with mobility and muscle power that mean my average speed on the road is now down to 7mph and any gradient at all means i am straight down into granny gears.

An ebike with a big chuffing motor and failsafe outriggers would open up cycling for so many people out there - dunno quite how it work but there's plenty of very clever bike designers out there who could come up with something suitable.

I can't get my rear wheel off the ground like that to ride on my front wheel, what a beautiful video about friendship.

Amazing video, the smiles and giggles sound like any good ride with mates.

He's been involved with Mr Crud making out riggers for his motorbike, I believe he rode it at goodwood.

What an absolute brilliant video. Tears of pure joy for him. The Mrs will be the same when I show her this. A truly inspirational person and a testament to the phrase... Never give up.
