Hi.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there are any markings on the Rubber Queen (tyre itself, not the box ;0) to differentiate between the Black Chilli version and the normal compound ? I've bought one new, supposedly a black chilli version but can't see it written on the tyre anywhere, its a 2.2. Is there a way of distinguishing between them ?

Cheers

Michael

I think that if you look between the tread blocks themselves, there are little chilies in a circle I think interspaced between them

Hand made in Germany will signify its black chilli

ruscle is correct, if it is a German made tyre it will be Black Chilli.

The box, if you have it, should have the number 0100423 on it.

Cheers guys.

Is this definately still the case for the current range 2011 tyres ?
I know it was like this for the 2009/10 range, at which point they didn't have a black chilli UST tyre in 2.2 (only the 2.4 version) in their range.

Ah haaaa ! Well that's cleared that up then. Yup, box reads Art Nr. 0100423.

Cool. Thanks for all your help guys.
