I'm toying with a prototype chain device and want to test it with different cranks. I'm thinking I will test it on the 3 or 4 most popular and see if I run into any compatibility problems. Have not had any luck finding sales figures for cranks though so thought I would just ask people.

Not what I am working on, but have you tried the [url= http://labs.yesspro.com/products/etr-b ]Yess ETR-B[/url] ? I had one and thought it was great.

Why did you have to file them? Was it because the bashring was too chunky around the chainring bolt area?

Is it possible for a tensioner which uses a coiled spring to apply a constant force throughout it's stroke? I'm not sure it is, and I can't think of how else a BB mounted tensioner could work.
