Not nice at all... TBH it's kind of surprising stuff like this doesn't happen more often with wellmeaning riders moving damaged trees around, trees can be aggressive when wounded. Hope he makes a full recovery

ditto, good luck to the guy, met him on the TP race. It worries me this probably backs up health and safety risk assessments cos I hate these bar stewards and their pedant ways. 😉
