[#9444601]

I have a 'mark' which is a small grove going just about all the way around the BB shell on the drive side of my Ti frame that I noticed a few weeks ago and has definitely got more pronounced over the last few weeks.

The frame is only 3 months old... I am running a 1x set up and have not dropped the chain so it can't be that, ideas anyone....?

Baby Robin caught in the drive chain?

Looks like a machining mark to me.

I did drag a kitten down the road the other day, luckily managed to catch it with the back wheel as it fell out....

Does the fact that it seems to be getting worse mean its going to explode or is it all in my head (like the kitten?)

is it all in my head

I reckon it's this.

Take another picture in a weeks time after some hard riding and post it up.

If you're not all broken and smashed in, of course...

as its only 3 months old and getting more pronounced I'd be going back to the shop.

Excellent comms from Charge - its a mark to tell the welder the drive side of the BB shell before it gets threaded.... Phew! 8)

When we make bb shells for folk they come with a groove marking it for the drive side thread on the fixture, maybe it's the same thing
