Why is the best British cyclist, who is leading the Giro, not even mentioned on the british cycling website?

They jealous?

Its not like its on every other sports website, but for BC the most important thing today is the Lincoln GP.

Because it would appear to be unfashionable to give him any credit.

If it was track cycling it would be on there, they just don't like him.

I think it's sad thats all, we got a big winner and he gets no credit.

i agree is a bit sad/odd that people don't like him or credit him when its due. Reminds me of ronaldo the more he is disliked the more he succeeds.

This may be flying in the face of public opinion, and don't get me wrong; he's a great cyclist and has done really well, but aren't people going a bit overboard with this: Yeah he's in the pink jersey but he won it as part of a team time-trial and was beaten in todays sprint by Pettachi.

I really hope he goes on to do really well in the Giro, and le Tour, but lets get some perspective on this: He is only really leading the Giro by default at the moment.

By the way, I ride a road bike and love watching road racing as well.

What a load of cock, if it was track cycling he would be part of the GB team run by British cycling hence immediately the on the BC site!

I personally think it's bigger news that Peaty won the DH world cup race today - equaling the record of Nicolas Vouilloz of 16 wins.

Now, if Cav went on to win a few stages, that may be a different story.

Is ir because he hasn't won it, and he comes across as a bit sulky?
