What do the STW super slueths make of this one? I thought the latest development was a cracker , heard it on the radio this morning just as a squadron of pigs flew by.
But then again I'm horrible & see the worst in people first 😀

It's as strange a case I've seen for some time. Details are scarce due the nature of it but if I were to bet on it then she has been dead for many years and they have been pocketing her benefits. Their story is absurd.
On the other hand if as they say she was there right up until the police arrived before nipping out the back, then you would expect if there was no evidence of her being there then they would be arrested and charged by now?
Looking at the drone footage, I've just realised that's the last house before Inverkip Power Station - I used to sneak past there all the time at night when exploring the place!

That story though , gone from reclusive shut in with learning difficulties (whatever that means) via a Harry Houdini escape performance, to farm labour gang master. Could anyone make up a more absurd story?
