I've been eyeing up the Manitou R7 forks on chain reaction crc link they look good value given how much they weigh.

Has anyone got any - and are they any good?

Cheers

John

Although named afetr a gay night club they are actually pretty good. Off to see if the flo green ones are going cheap.

loved mine, 2008 paltinum SPV's 2.9lbs of race boinglyness very good xc fork as long as you weigh less than 13st. If you're a bit lardy avoid them as like all lightweight forks they can be a tad flexy with a biffer on board.

yup like tazzymtb, i have 2007 platinums spvs,
i really like them,
i am only 9st so ideal lightweight fork for me,
they have been reliable 18 months of riding with no issues,
