My oldest just inherited a Specialized hardrock with Manitou blacks elites on
shock movement is a bit firm ...she's only 12, ive changed to lighter weight oil to little effect
i removed the bolt on the bottom of the left leg containing the spring little bit of oil
dribbled out of there but i now cant get the bolt to screw back in is there a knack to it ?
help she's given me the evils for tinkering with her bike!!!!

Had some manitou blacks a few years back I think you may have to take the spring out compress the forks to move the internal parts to the bottom of the leg hope this makes sense
