Owing to the unfortunate demise of my one-careful-owner Hope Ti-Glide...

I'm in the market for a replacement hub for SS duties. Must be QR and disc compatible and of cassette rather than free-hub persuasion.

Any recommendations? Is it worth getting a purpose-built SS hub, or should I carry on with a 'standard' hub and spacers?

Don't really have a particular budget in mind, but a CK SS hub isn't going to be on the radar.

Send a pic to Hope and ask if they'd help?

DT and American Classic are probably outside the range of the budget that I haven't set.

Superstar looks 'interesting'. Anyone used/abused one over an extended period? Is it available with anyone else's sticker on it so that I wouldn't have to deal with the legendary SSC customer service?

I did drop them a mail/picture on the off chance that it was repairable; I got a response back saying that they didn't have any flanges left so it wasn't going to be possible. I know Hope get a lot of credit on here for their warranty decisions, but it's more than 15 years old - I don't really feel that it (or they) owe me anything!

DMR revolver is the best budget hub I have used.

If it's lasted 15 years, why not get another Hope hub? Sounds like a great product to me ๐Ÿ™‚
