Hi All, I have just installed a nifty dynamo hub set up on my town bike and i want to neaten up the cables, one option i have is to run the cable through the fork (Kona P2 700C) which rather handily already has a hole in the fork crown (inside the steerer) and a drain hole in the bottom near the dropout. Can i enlarge this drain hole slightly to run the wire or is this a bad idea. I was thinking of starting small and just taking the paint off the hole.

Sod it, did it anyway, went from 2mm to 4mm, threading was a pain but I'm chuffed with the result

I wouldn't have gone to 4mm, that sounds a bit much... 😯
