So what noises have you failed to resolve and just put up with while riding? I've got a ticking from the bars on a 4 month old bike LBS and I have tried the following:

BB/cranks cleaned and greased
Rear axle cleaned and greased
Mech hanger cleaned and greased
Front axle cleaned and greased
Pedals cleaned and greased
Seat rails and post cleaned and greased
Stem cleaned and greased
Headset cleaned and greased
Pike uppers replaced
Headset spacers cleaned and greased.

So are there any noises you just put up with and enjoy the ride? Make me feel better...

I feel your pain. Of my 3 bikes, I dont think I have all 3 of them running silently at the same time in all the time I have owned them.

I seem to be constantly tracking down a noise on one of them by process of elimination.

MTB's dont bother me as much but any noise on the road bike drives me mad.

Ticking from the bars, have you pulled the ferruls off of your gear cable and checked that the wires from the outer casing arent exposed and touching the ferrul causing a noise wvery time you move the bars.

Do you wear a Camelbak?-are any jersey zip pulls clacking against the chest strap buckle? sounds crazy but it could happen
didn't happen to me--oh no--
nearly stripped the front end of my bike down trying to trace it.

Clicking from every spin of the peddle, think it's the pedals. I just push that little harder and let my weezing drown it out.

Cables are internally routed so not the ferruls. It's a light ticking that doesn't happen under load. It happens on flatter ground when you sit up and ease off which makes it more annoying because then theres less tyre noise etc.

My bikes all make a racket, the trick is not to care really. I do listen to it, sometimes it tells you about problems but mostly it's creaking and groaning and squeaking.
