me not like mine on a Dialled Bikes Prince Albert.

Well to clarify I find them damm difficult to get right as they have no negative pressure system so they either don't compress or compress too quickly!

Simple reliable forks. Cheaper than Fox and RS.

No problems with mine.

didn't like mine seemed to leak oil alot told it was normal but every ride they looked awful as the trail dust was drawn to the oil, so gave them back to the shop for something else, disliked them.

They run wet, which is why the stanchions look oily.

Pepper - you need to replace the standard 5wt damping oil with 15wt to increase the compression damping a little, and think about putting extra oil in the air chamber to increase the ramp-up. The difference this made to my laurins was huge 🙂

Also, when inflating the fork you need to compress it every 20psi or so to equalise the + and - air chambers, otherwise the first time you use it air moves from + to - and the fork is too soft.

they certainly run wet which then attracts the dust...

I have had no problems with mine in the two and a bit years I have had them, and they have needed very little maintenance, though I do tend to give them a cursory clean them after most rides. I would definately get them again.

Plush, stiff & reliable. Cheaper than the alternatives & also lighter.

Can't go wrong for £400 bucks.

RicB I've had the internals in mine replaced with Laurins, mucho betterer now!

But I'm still not that happy, I will get some 15wt oil for them and try them again, (do you know its really sad but I prefer my old Manitou Blacks SPV' and they have a blown SPV valve!

Absolutely love mine on my Prince Albert. Had a bit of faffing when I first got them and got the shop to put a little more oil in them as they were topping out quite frequently unless I had them at the fastest rebound setting. Once that was done I found their sweet spot. I have them set up with a little more than the recommended psi for my size and the rebound set up just on the slow side of the half way point. I use pretty much 99% of the travel and rarely have I bottomed out.

Find them extremely plush, reliable and really stiff for a normal QR fork. If you are struggling with them from new, they are well worth perservering with (I nearly swapped them for something else).

There's noticeably more oil on the left (left from my perspective when sat on the bike) stanchion of mine than on the right - is this normal? I'm a bit concerned by the amount of oil coming out.
