If you replace the hose, do you need to go through the whole "olive" thing of Hopes? Or can you just cut the barbed end connectors out of the hold hose and fit them to the new hose ?
And it says mineral oil , not DOT xx. Can I buy this from Halfords?
I've tended to use a new olive but the barbed thing I've reused.
If you're careful you don't need to bleed afterwards.
The oil you want is LHM+ & yes available from all car parts shops

Yeah, I know that. I was happy for the guidance - so being a pendant about such things wasn't impt
I could have read the whole post I suppose rather than assumign he was just shortening a hose but it's not the stw way
