What are your experiences of the MJ-828 battery pack. Are they really waterproof ?

Mine's not broken despite being sloshed around the Peak in the middle of winter.

used mine in alsorts of rain over the winter, no problems at all.

Mine has been ok too, survived a few showers, I bought a extension cable and put it in a saddle bag now

Had mine in use for 12 months now, and as above. Nothing bad to say. Sub-zero, rain, mud, sun etc- always good and ready for the next ride.

tis great but chunky a bit like velcro'ing a brick to your frame
