hi,
a mates wife wants to get him some lights so he can go riding with us. she has to get them by the 17 of this month, ruling out a direct deal extreme purchase( like what i did)

i am baffled by who is the best distributor in the uk, there are so many.

so who is the best, most up todate best for service/warranty and all that?

cheers

LOL @ Magichshine distributor, their all just chancers who say their the offical distributor, but in reality MS will sell to anyone who will give them money.

Normally ebay tend to have the best prices, and this is all their is between them TBH.

For a better unit, great service (/warranty) but at a slightly higher price just goto http://www.mtbbatteries.co.uk/2012-lights/
(he 'should' have your light to you by the end of the week [if he has stock])

Thanks Zippy & Woody

Feel free to drop me an email Rocky, I have new a stock of the 'V2' just arrived.

99% of orders placed before 2pm go out the same day on a First Class Recorded delivery.

Also for a short period only there is a free 'rear' light.

But please feel free to drop me and email if you have any questions.

I bought mine on ebay from hellostone123

Delivery was very prompt - and you can't argue with that.
(Ordered Saturday night and on my desk Tuesday 10am)

Yes all MS lights are mounted using an o-ring, same as Lupine whose lights are 2/3x the cost. The only way round this is to fit a mount yourself

Eg: Hope mount or Halford mount

rm - plenty of threads with mount options that will fit the usual magicshine lamps.
The o-ring retainer just unscrews and can be replaced with some off-the-shelf mounts. I have one sitting on my desk, but never bothered because the o-rings are fine.

The only place I've found a solid mount with the lamp was spokeshirts (who has discontined them) and dealextreme in hong kong.
You could pay extra for fast delivery from them I guess.
