saw a crazy Cannondale full-sus recumbent outside one of those ‘antique shop’-type places down the road from where I live. I managed to drive past and not go look at it!

Some muppet in a local branch ordered one of those in when I worked for Halfords. It languished in their store for a couple of years then when someone had a car park test ride they crashed it and dinged the down tube. Think they sold it for about £200 in the end...

A mate did the London to Brighton on one of those. Handle like a pig at slow speeds. Not much better at speed from memory. He got up the beacon though.
