I really like the look of this - is this just a single massive long down the mountain to the bottom race, or is it an enduro style 3 stages with transition riding inbetween?

That does look good. Shame it doesn't really tell you the race format.

sounds like one long run down the mountain......I would love to give it a go and if I can get some people together I may make the long trip from Wales!

I did it last year. Awesome fun. I made the mistake of trying to stay on the bike for the mass start bit on snow. Far, far quicker on foot. I made some time up on the climb. Best race I did last year

Think I'm sold. Time to rope some mates into doing it.

I cannot watch the video in work! Whats the format then BoardinBob? I realised that the link I put up was from 2012! Is it the same sort of thing?

This year it was 3 stages. Chairlift up and a bit of hikey bikey to get to the start. Big hikey bikey for the last mass start stage. 1 & 2 were solo runs. No practice but each stages uses the red downhill as the finisher with some tweaks between stages.

I really fancy this - anyone know if it normally sells out? I probably shouldn't commit to it too far in advance in case I get some work in that weekend.

I just watched a bit of the video and it looks a lot of fun. Its the weekend after the Dyfi Enduro and I have done that a lot so this could be the idea alternative!

I have entered. I may be doing it solo unless any of my lazy friends get involved too!
