Can they be reduced to 140mm travel with the right air shaft

No, 150mm is minimum

The Yari goes down to 120 and shares the same spring for 150+ so I don't see why it's not possible, even if its not listed. Tftuned etc would know for sure.

I’ve got what started life as a 160mm Yari but now runs a debonair 2019 spring and charger 2 Lyrik damper + seals. Currently on 140mm travel - also been 160 and 170. Unless they’ve changed the damper so it’s travel sensitive (like DT Swiss forks) or done something to the chassis I don’t see why you couldn’t use a 140mm Yari air spring.....

Yes, currently running a 140mm Lyrik Ultimate on my Bfe Max, I bought the airshaft from TF Tuned.
