As above got my eye on some, what do u think guys
tbh I found running 36's on my 456ti seems to unbalance it, but didn't the steel 456 - so maybe they are just too heavy.
One of my mates said same thing b r u could be right thanks
I replaced the 140mm Thor's I've run for 3 years with 2014 150mm RL Revs, my riding has been transformed 🙂
Run 36's on my ti slackline, never struggled with it feeling unbalanced. Mine are lowered to 140mm as I think that's plenty on a hardtail but prefer the stiffness of a bigger fork.
Some good points there guys all welcome
i run a Lyrik on ym DB Alpine... mate runs a Lyrik on his 456. no problems here....
i would, however, think about replacing the 2-step system for a coil. my fork was originally 2-step, but the system kept playing up. coil is an improvement over air for a small increase in weight.
I preferred 140mm on my 456. Had 160 on and it was a wee bit vague at times.
Two steps have a habit of becoming one steps. I converted mine to a solo air and spaced down to 140mm. Great fork.
Run 150mm zocchis on my surge. They are ace. Even used it in a xc race yesterday.
It is the only hardtail I've ridden that rides better with longer girls though. My girlfriend rides a 456 and that is better at 100mm.
These have a problem with the 2step not working proper at moment, I have a friend that can sort them tho. I cud fit them to my five I suppose and put the float rl's 140 on my 456ti. not sure whether to bid yet they are at £132 with 17 mins to go
