A bit daft of me, perhaps, but I have never figured out or seen anywhere what the different colours of the MTBBatteries Lumenator backlight denote in terms of battery capacity remaining.
Can anyone advise as I can't find it anywhere?
Green = fine
Blue = about to explode
Multi-coloured flashing lights = someone's slipped some acid in your Camelbak again
HTH
From memory it is something like...
100-60% Green
60-30% Blue
30-10% Red
10-0% Flashing Red
I might be slightly out on that but the instruction manual is in the garage and it's dark and cold so I'm not going to check.
Cheers Mark. I kind of knew that blue wasn't really bad, but I'm the kind of person who worries a bit about warning lights when I don't know what they mean!
No worries about not going to the garage, fair enough.
I appreciate the straight up reply rather than the piss-takers.
Blue's not bad, I only worry when it gets to red. I'll even set out for a ride without charging when it's borderline blue (blue on full power, but green on the lower powers).
Will double check the numbers tomorrow and report back if different, but don't think it's far off.
Green - 100%-70%
Blue - 70%-40%
Red - 40%-10%
Flashing Red - Less than 10%
That's from the manual
Ah not too far out then ๐
That makes more sense as the solid colours are each 30% blocks
Does the same apply for the 800?
Does anyone know what the run time on low setting is?
up to 3 hours on Full
10 hours at 70% mode,
30 hours at 40% mode,
50 hours at 10% mode.?
also worth noting that if the light becomes too hot it will drop to 70% power
