Deady easy. Just be careful when re-tightening the footnuts as they’re quite soft.

The tip with the damper rod is to set all compression settings to max and fully extend the damper rod before re-fitting the lowers to make it easier to get the damper rod threads through the lowers (ie to avoid just compressing the damper).

Also be sure to reset the black plastic bottom out bumpers in each leg properly

Don't overtighten the foot nuts when putting it back together. You will end up bending/popping off the spring clips (which set the travel) which is very annoying.

The instructions say something like 5Nm (???), and it really does mean that.

Other than that it's pretty straightforward.

I'd get the damper tool - costs a tenner and makes removing/replacing the the damper leg easier. Everything is made of cheese, it's very easy to damage stuff if you're hamfisted like me.

Not sure about the overtightening foot nuts thing - I thought the travel was set with a disc pinned into the air shaft?

Not if you've bent/popped it off by overtightening the footnut....
