So Claudio, is it a smart move to go around that jump then?

Don't have Sky so it's DH then F1 for me.

In the first women's race Claudio was saying the men could make the back of that jump, changed his tune very quickly!

It looks like it's started raining. All those hardpack sections will be lethal. I think the top ten will be in deep shit if it really comes down.

EDIT: it's absolutely pissing down!

Edmondson might have won this already.

Lobbing it down near the top! Could be a nail biter!

At least all the contenders will have similar conditions so the overall shouldn't be affected.

Except possibly makes it harder for Minnaar or Bruno to win today's race.

What a way to end the season! Looks to be starting to get slipperier and muddier at the top!

Unintended schralping going on in that left hander onto the flat sprint, worse possible place to lose time!

Those contenders for the overall will be wishing they’d taken it easy in qualifying yesterday.

Last few runs of the last race of the season built to a real incredible crescendo again, just like snowshoe last year. Brill.

Chuffed for Jamie and gutted for Greg but Loic just flew out of that last corner before dropping down to the line, looked way faster than anyone else id seen there. Hopefully there's another year or 2 left in Greg before he eventually retires hes just always there or there abouts!

I'm so glad the rain wasn't the decider. That would have been a miserable end to a crappy season. Thankfully those last runs were on fire.

I honestly didn't believe Bruni could out sprint Minnaar on the flat bit but that's where he won it.

Whatever Ohlins have hidden in that mystery box definitely worked.

If you watch it back, his forks barely move on the last sprint, it's gotta be a compression lock.

Bloody brilliant for Jamie. Next season has to be a top step for him?

I asked him in the summer about how he felt going into some EWS and DH - and he seemed quietly determined...I guess the proof is in the results.

Couldn't be happier for young Jamie Edmonson , we met him at Glenlivet where his mum runs the cafe in the summer and he seems a very grounded nice lad. Surely gonna get signed up for Commencal or the likes next season . Gutted for Matt Walker and Greg .
A short season but the races have been great .

Well as no one else appears to have, I will say well done Marine Cabirou. First race I wondered about her fitness she lost so much time at the bottom, but this time she was better there.

If all the top women are fit next season it will be interesting.

Gutted for Matt Walker

I think he got a small consolation prize! Great race though.

Loved Minaar doing a tear-off strip in mid-air off the jump.

British World Cup and champs double , must be the first time someone has won the overall without winning a race .

In a way that might of been the best outcome for Jamie Edmonson . He gets on the podium and I’d imagine will have a few teams to pick from without the label of rain assisted World Cup winner . The french lad who won Lourdes a few years back said he struggled with it .

sounds like there could be a few team moves as well . Sets it up really well for next year .

He was let go out of Transition MucOff a year ago. Let's hope someone offers him a contract for a few years.

This season he has been on EWS u21 podium and now 10th(?) overall for DH world cup.

I didn't see him turn it off though for the big jumps etc after the sprint. Surely he'd not run them locked out.

Brilliant to see Phil Atwill up there. Such a talented bicycle operator and big character. 👌

What happened to Loris, that flat on friday must have really affected his confidence.
Minnaar's mid air tear off, what a Legend.
Super Bruni is back.
Another title for the Brits, win without a win, hopefully Matt and Reece can take their form to the sunnier races.

Overall for Matt walker, that's pretty exclusive company for a UK rider. Only Peaty, Atherton and Bryceland have managed haven't they?

We've had some really close racing this year, really enjoyed it and to top it off a Matt Walker is world champ and theres still nothing on the front page celebrating this...
