Got a set of DMR Trailblade II forks winging their way to me for a new project. They've got canti studs but I don't need them - I'm not going to weaken my forks am I by lopping them off with a hacksaw as close to the fork leg as possible?

I've removed a load of bits from frame and forks over the years, no issues yet, just go slow and keep the blade well away from the tubing then use a file to clean up
