[#1855725]

Just cleaned the bike and noticed the headtube is cracked about an inch up and now im a bit dubious to ride it on trails. Anyone else had this happen? Is this a common thing on a hardtail? Its on my Scott scale 50 hardtail Its 3 years old. I was thinking of getting a big jubilee clip to help prolonge it so i can get a new frame or a new bike. Do you reckon that will be safe enough to ride technical trails/ downhill? Any recommendations for frames or bikes that are on offer will be appreciated as i need a bike soon for a sponsored bike ride next month. Cheers

Don't ride it if you value your nads/teeth/face/jaw/head/any part of your body.

Try a new frame under warranty from Scott, they might do you one nice price

You are joking? right!

You've cracked your frame and you seriously still need to ask if it's safe to ride?
