Staying just down the road from Chatleherault, however you spell it, and just read that Cathkin Braes may be worth a visit?

Some trails at Chatelherault ( cant spell it either).
Cant speak of Cathkin but it is the location for the Commonwealth MTB trails, not built yet though (?).
New trails at Whinlatter wind farm by Eaglesham, not technical though.
Upstream of New Lanark there are some trails. Starting from New Lanark itself.
Fereneze Braes between Barrhead and Paisley host XC races. Start from Brownside farm.
Of course, Glentress is only 40 mins away. If you can ride the trails for the snow !

Cool, cheers. Yep, always done Glentress, Inners, Kirroughtree and yesterday a frozen Mabie while staying here here but never found (or really searched) for anything local.
