I have taken to my bike again after a long gap.
Looking for some rides/ routes near Dunstable downs area. Preferably off road.
I am also moving to Milton Keynes at the end of March and the same question applies.

Take a look at segments on Strava in the area you're interested in. Find a few segments that look interesting. Click on the leaderboards for the segments and see if any riders make their rides visible to all. Try out their rides for yourself.
Well the Downs is fine. Head up Sewell Greenway up the road to the top of the hill, head to the NT cafe and follow the walkers on the path that skirts the top of the hill. You’ll see be near a car park off Bison Hill. To the right of this is a trail which has a series of steep steps the flow into a trail that skirts all the way back down to the road at the bottom of the hill. Also a few nice routes past Whipsnade and into Ashridge and down into Aldbury.
Woburn/Sands & Rushmere are all rideable from you if you fancy a longer ride - of course MK will be closer depending where. Enjoy.
