My laptop has just told me that I should enable a feature that only charges the Lithium (I think) battery to 80% because I usually use mains and they'll last longer that way. So what should I do to look after my new Diablo battery? Charge it fully and leave it fully charged until it's next used? Run it down periodically? Leave permanently charging? Unplug from charger but top up once a month?
It's not such an issue now that I'm using it but what should I do as the days draw out and I'm doing less night riding?(I've already had 2 weeks without night riding between work and family commitments).
Excellent light, the new Diablo, btw. Seems to attract owls though.

The answer is in the manual.

Basically when not in regular use charge fully once a month.

Hope say to half charge the battery and leave it in the fridge.
